My puppy Hickory...his first time ever playing in the rain.
How I got the shot: He was actually terrified of the water, and refused to go out in the swamp that was our half flooded yard. So I rolled up my pajama pants and ran full speed through the deepest part of the water. He took off after me....I held my camera down at his level, facing behind me, and continued to run from the soggy furry terror...and click!
I'm totally annoyed his head got cut off, but still love the moment it captured. The truly amusing part of the whole story was how he whined and howled later that evening when we gave him a bath to get all the grass and muck off him. Crazy pup.
It should be noted that we continued to play in the rain for a good amount of time after my camera was in the safety of the house...it was so much fun. The moral? Life is short, people...play in the rain!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
